The Algarve to host the Associations World Congress 2026 in June

The Associations World Congress 2026 will take place from 7 to 9 June in Lagoa, in the Algarve. Event Point is a media partner for the event.

The 13th edition of the Associations World Congress will bring together leaders, directors, managers and professionals from associations around the world. At this edition of the event, organised by the Association of Association Executives, participants will learn how to leverage artificial intelligence, define AI policies and boost performance through practical strategies and guidance.

A plenary lecture, three panel discussions, four parallel sessions, 12 ‘deep dive’ sessions, 20 case studies, two forums and three social events make up the programme for the event, which will bring together over 400 participants. Artificial intelligence, the role of associations, societies and federations in the future, improving digital marketing for events, building value through network collaboration, and creating an effective hybrid conference are some of the topics to be explored.

Prior to the event, the Medical Associations Forum will take place, addressing, in a dynamic and interactive session, the landscape impacting medical associations and their events, as well as the workshop ‘Building Practical AI Workflows for Associations’.
