ATF 2019: Unity is Strength in Southeast Asia

The ASEAN Tourism Forum 2019, with "The Power of One" as main topic, will take place from January 14th to 18th in Ha Long Bay, Vietnam.

Unity is strength. It is a popular expression that does not lose its validity, as understand the ten countries that make up ASEAN, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, having chosen "The Power of One" as the main topic for the 2019 ASEAN Tourism Forum in Ha Long Bay, Vietnam, from 14th to 18th January.

The ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) is an annual event to promote Southeast Asia as a tourist destination and the ten countries that make up the association: Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. It is a region full of diversity - languages, cultures, traditions, people - but also with many things in common, such as the desire to grow in the tourism sector.

ASEAN countries admit they are stronger and more competitive together and that good results can be achieved if they are presented as a collective destination. "The Power of One" will be the theme of next year's event, which features not only meetings between ASEAN tourism officials, but also an ATF Travex exhibition area, where destinations, products and services of the region will be showcased.
