Event Point presents its Brazil Edition during IBTM World

According to ICCA - International Congress and Convention Association, Brazil is in the top 20 of countries that receive the most events annually. And in the American continent alone, it ranks third, right after the US and Canada.
Mega international events such as the Confederations Cup, the Olympic Games, Rock in Rio or the Rotary Annual Conference, among others, have already been held in Brazil and are arousing interest and curiosity from the major global players in the MICE sector.
In this in mind, and in order to offer the best and most complete information about the world of events to its readers, Event Point International decided to start a Brazil Edition that was just launched in Barcelona during the IBTM.
The purpose of the new publication is simple: to show Brazil as a MICE destination to international clients. Event Point's portfolio now has three magazines, in Portuguese and English, seven annual editions, websites and electronic newsletters ... all to continue to value an industry that contributes so much to the development of both regions and countries.
Rose de Almeida is the responsible for this edition’s content. She has deep knowledge of this Brazilian market, and fortnightly writes the MICE Business Brazil column on the Event Point website. It offers useful and up-to-date information about Brazilian entities, clients, events, infrastructure and professionals involved with Brazilian travel, congresses, meetings, fairs and events.
If in recent years Event Point has been showcasing Portugal, and the Lusophone countries, to the world, now it will pay even more attention to Brazil. In this first edition, entirely in English, we highlight the articles by consultants Fernão Loureiro and Vanessa Martin, on the relationship between events and corporate travel, and a study on hybrid events, respectively.
The cover highlights two destinations prepared to host events: Bonito and Ceará. The magazine is completed with a brief list of contacts of the main associations of the Brazilian MICE world.
Brazil Edition copies will be available at the same Event Point International trade shows, some of the most important on the international calendar, from IMEX in Frankfurt and Las Vegas to IBTM World in Barcelona, from IT&CM Asia in Bangkok to Heavent Meetings in Cannes or BEA World Festival in Milan.
