Hoti Hotels acquires new units in Funchal and Castelo Branco

The Hoti Hotels Group invested in the acquisition of two new hotel units, this time the Golden Residence Hotel in Funchal, and the Tryp Colina do Castelo in Castelo Branco.

Located in prime Funchal, the Golden Residence Hotel is a four-star hotel with 173 accommodation units, which belonged to the ECS Fund. With this acquisition, the Hoti Hotels Group reinforces its offer in Madeira, this becoming the group's second unit in Funchal.

Tryp Colina do Castelo, in Castelo Branco, was already managed by the group under the Tryp Hotels brand, but with this acquisition the hotel chain adds to management the ownership and operation of this unit. It is a four-star hotel with 103 rooms.

These two investments are part of the group's growth strategy. They are expected to open this year a new hotel unit in Maputo, which will be their first in Mozambique. It is a four-star hotel with 173 rooms, representing an investment of 16 million euros.
