The event will have seven special congresses.

The 11th edition of IBTM Americas 2021 will take place face-to-face on August 18 and 19 at Centro Citibanamex Mexico City with the goal to reconnect and revive business in the meetings industry in Mexico and Latin America.

Under the concept ‘Humanizing events’, IBTM Americas will provide a platform for meetings and events professionals to connect and meet with friends, partners, and colleagues.

2,000 people are expected to attend the two-day event and the event will feature 350 exhibitor and co-exhibitor companies with a stand or pavilion. Exhibitors will attend primarily from North America, Mexico, Latin America, as well as destinations in Europe and Asia.

“As always, we will have the strong intention of doing business, with more than 7,000 pre-scheduled appointments booked and we expect to achieve business opportunities of nearly $1,000 million. In addition, we will contribute to Mexico City with more than 4,000 room nights and we will, as an industry, achieve the revival of our companies and demonstrate that the meetings and events industry is more alive than ever and committed to its economic reactivation,” commented David Hidalgo, Event Director.

The education program will include seven special congresses: The Romance Congress, Pharma Congress, Sustainable Events Interactive Forum, Event Design Hybrid Conference, DMOs Day, third MPI International Hispanic Forum and the first DMCs Latin American Congress. In addition, there will be around 40 conferences delivered by experts in different fields including pharma, marketing, weddings, finance, social media, tourism, events and experiences.
