IFEMA Madrid will held Heart Failure Congress in 2022

Announcement by The Heart Failure Association (HFA) of the European Society of Cardiology.

TheHeart Failure Association (HFA) of the European Society of Cardiology will hold its next annual congress in IFEMA Madrid. 

The HFA has more than 10,000 members, and past Heart Failure congresses have hosted 5,500 to 6,000 delegates at their in-person editions. The programmes have featured up to 300 faculty, with around 90 sessions, 2,000 abstracts and clinical cases submissions, and more than 100 countries represented. The 2021 edition took place online (29th June – 1st July), with an attendance of 8,100.

IFEMA Madrid welcomes this event after successfully hosting two congresses for related cardiology sub-specialty associations of the ESC in recent years: EHRA 2021 (European Heart Rhythm Association) and EuroEcho 2009 (European Association for Cardiovascular Imaging). In addition, the largest global event in cardiology will be arriving at IFEMA Madrid in 2025. ESC Congress 2025 will occupy practically the whole of the venue, spread over 10 halls, as well as the North Convention Centre and meeting rooms throughout the entire complex.
