Lisbon Congress Centre hosted over 6,000 participants for ICT 2015

The Lisbon Congress Centre (CCL) received a major event dedicated to information technologies: ICT 2015 - Innovate, Connect, Transform. This European Commission's initiative was co-organised by the Science and Technology Foundation and took place between 18th and 22nd October.
According to the CCL, the event occupied all facilities (eight auditoriums, five pavilions and 35 rooms and outdoor areas, in a total of 29,000m2) and brought to Lisbon over 6,000 participants, 15% under 15 years old.
And because it is a technology event, the wi-fi requirements were enormous. The CCL secured a mobile and fixed infrastructure which ensured full coverage of the event and simultaneous internet access to all the 6,000 participants, as well as all network requirements to conferences and exhibitors.
Participants came from 109 countries, representing over 800 universities and research and development institutes, hundreds of start-ups and other companies.
