Tourism of Portugal publishes technical guides in English

Turismo de Portugal (Tourism of Portugal) has just released the "Guia Portugal Contemporâneo” (Contemporary Portugal Guide) and the “Guia Técnico de Turismo Equestre” (Equestrian Tourism Technical Guide) in English. These platforms are digital and tourism industry oriented, containing information on tourism at a national level. The Contemporary Portugal Guide covers four areas: architecture, contemporary art, design and events. It covers the entire country and aims to facilitate the formatting of programs, contents and tourism services.
The Equestrian Tourism Guide provides information about the different equestrian spaces and activities available.
According to João Cotrim Figueiredo, Turismo de Portugal President, "these guides are another contribution to make tourism companies more able to create new, different and innovating tourism experiences, allowing to diversify and attract more public."
The guides are available at http://guiastecnicos.turismodeportugal.pt, and were developed in partnership with the Portuguese Institute of Architects, the Portuguese section of AICA (International Association of Art Critics), MUDE - Design and Fashion Museum and the Regional Tourism Promotion agencies.
