Algarve Nature Week showcases tourism offer

The tourism action agencies and rural tourism accommodation units in rural areas of the Algarve will join the Algarve Nature Week. Scheduled for April 2015, this event will bring together the outdoor activities supply. Registration is running until 15th January for companies that want to join the Algarve Tourism Region (RTA) initiative.
The premiere is scheduled for April 11th and for nine days the Algarve tourists and residents will have access to several suggestions related to nature tourism, a product that in Europe alone is expected to generate about 20 million trips next year, reveals the Strategic Marketing Plan for Tourism of the Algarve. The website www.algarvenatureweek.pt will focus on information about the joining companies offer.
In organizing this first edition, the RTA has a partnership with Turismo de Portugal (Tourism of Portugal), Associação Turismo do Algarve (Algarve Tourism Association), the City of Faro and CP – Comboios de Portugal.
