Romanian airline Blue Air will start on June 1st a new direct connection between Lisbon and the Italian city of Turin.

Romanian airline Blue Air will start on June 1st a new direct connection between Lisbon and the Italian city of Turin. The operation has three weekly flights (on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays), in a Boeing 737, with capacity for 120 passengers.

Turin is Blue Air's second destination at Humberto Delgado Airport in Lisbon, after having opened direct flights to Bucharest last June. "The connection to the Portuguese capital is a great development to the Turin network and we are delighted to add this vibrant and attractive community to our growing route map, gateway to the Piemonte area. One of the main opportunities for scheduled flights between Turin and Lisbon is the favourable diversity of passenger traffic that will sustain a high volume of non-seasonal traffic throughout the year," said Tudor Constantinescu, Blue Air's CCO.
