Cultural events take more and more tourists to Brazil

23/06/2015

Culture has been drawing many tourists, domestic and foreign, to various parts of Brazil. It has been working as a charm and a competitive factor among municipalities, which have understood the cultural events' added value and their increasing importance to them. A study by the Ministry of Tourism (MTur) estimated that 2.87 million of Brazilians and 663,000 foreigners move every year around the country attracted by its culture.

Brazil is now the eighth country in the world with more cultural resources. And we are not only talking about Carnival... There are more and more festivals, traditional religious and culinary events, craft fairs and literary productions; events that are distinguishable by their diversity and that have been attracting more and more people.
