JJW Hotels & Resorts Group will host the golf tournament in the next three years.

Portugal will host the International Pairs World Final, a golf tournament that gives amateur golfers from around the world the opportunity to compete in professional golf tournaments. JJW Hotels & Resorts Group has won the rights to host the event over the next three years at Penina Hotel & Golf Resort this year and at San Lorenzo Golf Course in 2018 and 2019.

"We are very proud to have been selected as partners and hosts of the International Pairs final in the next three years. Our main objective is to offer a fantastic and memorable experience to all our guests, whether they are new participants or already our clients and friends. We also proudly guarantee that the JJW group will, through its hotels and golf courses, transmit the excellence and quality of the Algarve destination," said Ruben Paula, Operations Managing Director of JJW Hotels & Resorts Group.

The tournament will spread over several fields. The teams will be cleared on July 20th at the Pinheiros Altos Golf Course, on August 5th at the San Lorenzo Golf Course and on September 6th at the Sir Henry Cotton Golf Course at Penina Hotel.

Finding the "perfect stage" for this tournament is always a challenge, says Patrick Mulcrone, Managing Director of Golf Partners Worldwide, owner of International Pairs. "The choice of the host partner is not just for the quality of the golf course but also for the quality of other facilities involved such as accommodation, all the surrounding facilities and even entertainment for our guests when they are not in competition."
