Rua Augusta Arch opens its doors at sunset

05/06/2015

Until August 31st, Rua Augusta Arch, one of the icons of Lisbon, closes at 9pm to give a warm welcome to the setting of the sun. River Tagus, Sé, Castelo de São Jorge, Rossio and Carmo Convent ruins are some of the city's symbols you can see from a single angle.

Visitors can also get to know some of the Arch's history, from the beginning of its construction to its completion, in an exhibition held at Sala do Relógio (Clock Room).
