VisitBritain to showcase the very best of business events at ‘MeetGB Virtual’ 2022

In partnership with MeetEngland, Business Events Scotland, Meet In Wales, Tourism Northern Ireland and London Convention Bureau, MeetGB Virtual will welcome international buyers to connect online in real time with UK destinations, venues and suppliers. The virtual exhibition hall opens from Tuesday 15 February to Thursday 17 February, allowing international buyers to create a flexible meeting schedule whilst showcasing the diverse business events opportunities available.
VisitBritain CEO Sally Balcombe said: “We are delighted to once again offer a virtual platform where international event planners can connect with the UK business events industry. The new format will offer both buyers and suppliers flexibility that suits their own schedule, helping to create crucial business opportunities and supporting the MICE industry build back demand for live events as it reopens and begins to rebuild. Using tried and tested software MeetGB virtual 2022 provides a space where business connections can grow, keeping the UK front-of-mind as a leading destination for international meetings, driving back demand and bookings.”
Buyers will connect with destinations, venues and business event suppliers, taking part in hundreds of one-to-one, pre-scheduled meetings. Delegates will also be able to explore the event platform, with UK destinations promoting their services on virtual exhibitor booths.
