Wizz Air has new routes from Lisbon

The Polish airline inaugurated on 30th March two new routes from Lisbon: Budapest and Warsaw. The opening ceremony took place in Terminal 2 at Lisbon Airport, on arrival of the flight from Budapest and was attended by Hungary Ambassador Klara Breuer, Poland Ambassador Bronislaw Mistal, Luis Matoso from Turismo de Portugal (Tourism of Portugal) and Paula Oliveira, Executive Director of Turismo de Lisboa. They were greeted by Luís Vaz, Executive Committee of ANA Airports Administrator, and João Nunes, Lisbon Airport Director.

Daniel de Carvalho, WIZZ Group Communication Director, said: "It is with great pleasure that I inaugurate the first two WIZZ flights in Portugal. With so low fares as €49.99, we believe we can win a growing number of clients and encourage two-way traffic. Portugal as tourism destination is very popular in Central and Eastern Europe and we intend to promote the destinations Lisbon and Portugal in order to attract visitors both from Poland and Hungary."
