Maze FX with a Metaverse workshop at Portugal Pavilion in Expo Dubai
The Portugal pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, in collaboration with MAZE FX, a company specialized in events, digital and immersive content, organized a metaverse workshop.
The aim was to present ideas and solutions about the post-pandemic future and presente the evolution in the production of immersive formats and content in the real, virtual and hybrid environment, including the evolution of metaverse. This was explored by giving practical ideas to brands and companies.
The event was attended by business guests from the events industry, communication and marketing of several international brands, present in the Middle East.
Maze Fx, a Portuguese and Brazilian company, with offices in São Paulo, Lisbon and Dubai, teased visitors to Expo Dubai about immersive experiences and concepts with metaverse technology, which international companies such as Facebook, Microsoft and others have already started to use and focus on, especially because the technology industry is looking for new solutions to keep up with a changing market.
Participants, from content creators and companies working in the metaverse area, highlighted that the future is moving strongly towards the virtual world, defying reality, with the possibility of holding mixed reality meetings as well as several other practical examples presented, in the areas of events, health, automobile and cultural.
Emphasis was also placed on absorbing the metaverse through elements: experimentation, exploration, digital economy
Joel Vicente, Partner and Regional Manager of Maze FX in Europe and Middle East, said: "This complex world will allow us to experience a new multidimensional reality, in which we navigate and experience the details of goods and services, using our senses and imagination for through connected accessories such as phones and eyeglasses, and through artificial intelligence technologies, blockchain.
Joel Vicente added that “the emerging technology that provides many tools to create more persuasive content in sound, video and other senses, simulation and animation techniques that support the art of stories, help create an interactive environment that fills the experience gap through seller and buyer presence in the new virtual reality, overcoming the obstacles of time and physical presence”.
