22/09/2017
ibtm world is inaugurating a new space this year: the Start-Up Pavilion, where recent technology companies can showcase their work to more than 15,000 MICE industry professionals. ibtm world will take place from 28th to 30th November in Barcelona.
The companies showcasing in this space must be as far as two years, employ five workers or less, and should not present a turnover higher than 500 thousand euros. In addition, companies will have a personalised agenda, with the opportunity to schedule meetings with professionals interested in their event technologies.
"Over the past 30 years, our focus has always been to provide our customers with the best possible experience, including access to the latest and most exciting innovations in the industry. The Start-Up Pavilion is not only an opportunity for new companies to gain exposure in the industry, but also for our hosted buyers and visitors to experience and invest in the latest technology," says Keery Prince, ibtm events Portfolio Director.
James Morgan, founder of Event Tech Lab, believes that "with so many technology companies entering the industry, it's great that ibtm world offers a platform for smaller and newer companies to come forward with their ideas." "By showing the latest technologies and solutions for the MICE industry, ibtm world is once again demonstrating its commitment to innovation", he adds.
