Prolight + Sound celebrates 25th anniversary

After a quarter of a century, this Frankfurt exhibition is still investing in and thinking about professional visitors.

For the past 25 years, Prolight + Sound has been synonymous with trends and innovations in the event and entertainment technology industry. Its next edition, from March 31th to April 3rd, 2020, is a platform for meeting professionals, and therefore bet on a better structure to showcase brand products and facilitate networking between exhibitors and visitors.

For the first time, exhibitors can invite an unlimited number of people to the event with free entry vouchers. Also new is the hosted buyers program: Messe Frankfurt provides flights and accommodation for a limited number of qualified buyers, selected in collaboration with key exhibitors.

Structured segments and specific programs

Because it is a comprehensive exhibition, and to make it easier for professionals to work, there will be five well-defined areas: ProAudio, ProLight, ProStage, ProMedia, and ProEvent. In the latter, event visitors will find everything they need to ensure successful initiatives. News range from Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality to software solutions for event planners. Particular attention will be paid to security at major events, and at the International Event Safety & Security Conference (I-ESC) on Wednesday, April 1st, experts will discuss a variety of topics such as crowd management, occupational safety, etc. In addition, hall 11.0 will feature a special exhibition area for security solution manufacturers.
