Altice Arena changes its name to Meo Arena

As of 1 February, Portugal's largest venue will once again be called Meo Arena.

Portugal's largest venue, Altice Arena, has, as of 1 February, regained the naming rights it acquired in 2013.

The change to Meo Arena follows the communication strategy of the main sponsor, Altice, which has been associated with the Lisbon arena for over ten years.

"This decision is in line with the repositioning of the brands of our partner, Altice. Our mission as the largest concert hall in the country remains the same: to offer the most varied audiences unique, quality moments" says Jorge Vinha da Silva, CEO of Arena Atlântico, which owns Meo Arena.

Meo Arena is a venue with more than 15,000 square metres and around 40 meeting rooms. The concert hall has a maximum capacity of 20,000 people.
